Vitamins and Essential Oils
Keeping our immune systems strong is imperative during this time. To do this, we need to get enough sleep, drink enough water, minimise our stress, and ensure we are getting enough vitamins and minerals.
Vitamin C is one vitamin that people generally say is good for immune health. Oranges, Lemons, Thyme, Capsicum and Strawberries are a few fruits and herbs that are high in Vitamin C.
Note how some of these are also essential oils.
BUT, just because the fruit or herb is high in Vitamin C, it does not mean the oil is as well.
In short, no essential oil has vitamins or minerals as they do not cross during the distillation process.
